FInally bad weather

SO finally we got bad weather, well bad weather for as far as Valle goes. We still got to fly but it was so over cast it wasnt that great, but our clients still had a great time. THe weather report is looking good for the next 4 days and will be pst frontal so we will be playing lots of bacci,basketball and relaxing until then.

Welcome to Paradise!

So we have been getting such good weather here in Mexico. We fly every day usually twice a day. We have been getting to 13,000 feet pretty much every day and flying where ever we want to. People are starting to show up as we get closer to the competitions, so its getting busy but I love that, when the sky is littered with gliders,its very colorful.I have been having lots of fun doing acro, yesterday I was up to 12,700 over the mesa with my new acro wing and I was heliing for hundreds of feet to dynamic stall that made my day. Flying in Mexico

So I v had 2 days of flying and the conditions have been marginal but that hasnt stopped me from having fun and getting some acro done :) nothing like a few tumbles and g forces to make you smile. Its been really high pressure the thermals are really small and rowdy and not very strong. Today we got up to 9,200 feet is all that sounds like a lot but usually we are getting 3-4 thousand feet higher than that. Oh well I have a lot of time to wait for it to get better. The take off has been redone and is twice as big as it was last year so thats nice and easier for top landings.I still have not found a fast internet connection so the pics are still on hold. I hear it is snowing back in SLC a bunch and hope my friends and family are enjoying that and making the best of it. Tear up some pow for me!

We Made it!!!!

So we arrived last night after a long search for the house, the house is located way deep in the woods and accessed by a dirt road,and the map the owner gave us was crap so after some head lamp searching through the woods we found it and what a house it is. :) the house is amazing. I had breakfast with a couple of peacocks running around,sitting next to the pool.theres a hot tub the place is huge.I feel like a big time drug dealer all thats missing is a couple of bodyguards with AK'S walking around. We are setting up the house today for the clients who come in on Sat. and then I am gonna go flying. I would love to post some pics but the Internet here is agonizingly
slooooow it has taken me a long time just to post this.The pics are coming though.Its a tuff life but someone has to do it.

Back in Action

So we got our Van fixed this morning, we met a really nice gentleman by the name of Alfredo, he took us around to some different mechanics until we could find one that could fix it today, and then took us to a local restaurant for our first Mexican meal (we have been living on peanut butter and jelly sandwiches) this restaurant was a locals place no way we could of found it on our own, and the food was awesome.Now we are headed to Valle which is 6 hours away. I will post some pics of our journey once I find a little faster internet.

Hello from Mexico

Alright we have made it to Guadalajara our van is having some issues so we are going to spend the night here and try to fix it in the morning. We have been driving for 3 days and I am ready to arrive at our destination. The scenery for the last 5 hours has been amazing the roads are crazy there are always people on the side of the road hanging out I'm not sure exactly what they are doing, we hit a toll booth every hour it gets real expensive.We spend every night sleeping in the van so we can guard all of our crap we brought down. If everything goes as planned we will arrive in Valle tomorrow in the evening. I hope all my friends and family are doing good and enjoying the new year!! Much Love Brad
