Hi there everyone!! Its been a long time since Ive posted because first of all I have been on a lake teaching SIV in Cali. and working on the rythmic sat which has been alot of fun and pain, its alot of pressure in the shoulder and arms doing this maneuver especially when your doing it wrong like I have been for the last year.But I have learned so much about the trick and have a good understanding of it now. I pulled one off at the point yesterday that was aweome and cant wait to be over the water again next week to really go for it. I also have moved into my new house :) it is like heaven here and am so happy to finally have a steady solid place to live without stepping on anyones toes. Here once I finally start to get it I heard a ripping noise in my harness and stopped to make sure I was gonna stay connected to my wing. ITs unedited so just watch the beginning the rest is lame. Snowkiting!

Its been crazy weather here in SLC one day its hot as hell and flying is awesome and the next day it snows,thats spring time in Utah for you, luckily my friends and I are multi-talented =) Thursday was a great day at the Northside, Kody and I hiked to the top and flew for a bit,I am finally getting used to my new acro harness,I got some nice tumbles,loops and a sicky death spiral in. Then on Friday Woody,Pat and I went to Skyline for some snowkiting. It was beautiful blue bird day.Its unbeleivable how much snow we still have up there. Robbie Whittal and Alicia were there kiting when we showed up,its great to see what is possible with these kites, Robbie was flying all over the place like he was on a little paraglider. Woodie got some really nice shots here's a few of them, thanx Woody.I hope I get some more flying in before I go back to Cali, the forecast isnt good but we will see.

Boring!

So Ive been working my butt off getting my new business off the ground,check out the new site www.paraglideutah.com =).I did get the chance to do some flying on Saturday and Sunday,that was fun.Saturday we had a barbeque at the point it was great to see alot of old faces,and get to fly with everyone as well, I need a new camera so I can capture these events. I hope to do that soon. The weather in SLC has been wonderful it was 80 today but looks like the cold is coming back for the next week oh well it was nice to get a taste of Summer. Once the weather gets consistant I will let all you out of towners know so you can come and participate. Let me know what you think of the website. Blue Skies! Brad

Brrr! Still

SO I havnt posted in awhile, because my life has slowed down a bit. I am back in Utah and its been snowing alot, and still snowing. Ive been to busy building my new business and buying a house. Yep a house I am so excited. I move in on May 1st and its gonna be so nice to have my own place, be able to do what I want and not have to walk around on egg shells all the time.Come out and check out my new pad if you can.I will be heading back to Cali in a few weeks to do more SIV courses, they are filling up fast so if you want to participate let me know asap.I will be taking my new acro harness and wing and hope to get some pretty sic tricks in while down there, and filming them with a HD camera, so check back for more pics and vid's.I hope all my friends out there are doing great and I look forward to hearing from you soon.In the mean time here are a few more pics compliments of thiakonig.com for you to get you stoked on the upcoming flying season,if your not a pilot come out and fly with me!

Kickin it in Cali

Hi everyone, I am still in Cali my trip has been extended because I found more work. Rob asked me to help out with a thermal clinic this weekend, and since the weather looks cold in Utah I decided to stick around. Since Ive been here Ive been towing over the Lake throwing down some acro =),I finally had a break trough on a new trick Ive been trying to learn for years, the rythmic SAT, the infinite tumble is right around the corner folks, flown 3 new sites in Big sur which is an amazing beautiful place, magical I would say. Got my new glider which is a Niviuk Icepeak XP and got to fly it cross country in Santa Barbara with my good friend Rob,we landed 15 miles away at the beach after flying wing tip to wing tip the whole way,he was on his brand new Niviuk peak with pretty cool rasta colors. Not a bad trip at all. Here is a couple of pics I took in Big Sur of Kevin, my camera sucks but you get the picture of how beautiful that place is.

Hi there I havnt blogged in awhile cause I have been out doing clinics in the middle of nowhere California, no cell, no internet.
